The Fourth of July is great! I drive our son around with the scouts as they set-up American flags around our neighborhood at 6:00am. It is a fun neighborhood tradition. Yes fireworks were fun, but the real highlight of my day was seeing our kids(and my sweet wife) use Pop-its in our own backyard trying to kill ants(we have had some ant problems in our house and yard-so my wife isn't a big fan of ants right now). I know. I can't believe I didn't participate either.....I was out of Pop-its and my kids weren't about to spare any. :)

Our hero's, Blipblop and Two eyes, are in trapped! Blipblop isn't doing well after the SuperSoak cycle. His best friend, Two Eyes, isn't doing much better. But Two-Eyes can't see his best friend suffer any longer. As the water begins to drain, Two-Eyes reaches deep within himself before the Spin Cycle begins and throws the door open! Now he is face to face with the evil Laundry Goons!

It is cloudy outside and I am not a big fan of cloudy days. As I was drawing these two characters I thought about how grateful I am for my family. Because no matter what problems we may face and or how dark or scary life may seem, we always have our families. I am grateful for the happiness, light and peace that I feel at home with my family.

A friend of mine called me up and asked if I would participate in a focus group about Diabetes. I love talking about my personal experiences with Diabetes and letting people know that you can live a normal life with it....if you manage it and take care of it! It was fun! As we were wrapping up the discussions I had to draw some Number Monsters on my cards! :)

My daughter and I just finished this little turkey for my wife. On Sunday, my daughter drew several turkey drawings and asked Amanda which turkey she liked the best. Then we got to work. We cut the fabric that night and Began sewing Monday night. We put the finishing touches on today and just gave it to her for a thanksgiving gift ;) there is a stuffed little heart inside with the words "love" on it.

I met some really fun store owners and people at Market including this picture with Marsha. So.... normal day. I wake up our oldest son and tell him to go and eat some breakfast. He goes into the kitchen and heads straight for some Chocolate Chip cookies my wife made last night. Nice. I don't think so. I told him he had to eat a healthy breakfast before he could have a cookie. But he didn't get a chance to have one, so on his way out the door, right after he brushes his teeth, I handed him a cookie. :) I hope my wife doesn't read this. :)
